TOP 5 SNEAKERS OF 2017

Hi there!
We would like to share with you our top five sneakers of 2017, give us your opinion and leave a comment below if you agree or disagree with us. We are going to start with the fifth position.
In the fifth place we find:

Tyler, The Creator x Converse Golf le Fleur

In July, Tyler officially confirmed his departure from longtime partner Vans, finally going public with his new Converse deal. The project brought to life his Golf le FLEUR* footwear concept, using the One Star silhouette as a canvas. Initially arriving in four color choices, the low-top featured Tyler’s signature flower motif, with GOLF le FLEUR* branding on the tongue and insole, overlaid floral panels on the upper, and a floral outsole.

In the fourth place we find:
Balenciaga Triple S

It was impossible to miss the rise of obtuse and unconventional shoes this year, and even Balenciaga – the most talked-about high fashion brand of 2017 – joined the party with the Triple S. The eye-grabbing silhouette inevitably became the face of the chunky sneaker trend, taking the aesthetic and exaggerating it to meme-worthy levels.

In the third place we find:
KAWS x Air Jordan IV

Being brought into the fold as a Jordan collaborator is a career-changing moment, even if you already posses a largely unrivaled artistic acumen. Following up on his Air Max 90 and Air Force 1 collaborations way back in 2008, this year Brian Donnelly, better known by his graffiti tag KAWS, teamed up with the Air Jordan team to present a luxe take on the IV. While deep-rooted sneakerheads can easily recognize the importance of KAWS and Jordan joining forces to rework the IV, younger fans of the culture took the opportunity to brush up on their knowledge and get familiar with Donnelly’s considerable contributions (RIP OriginalFake) to streetwear over the years.

In the second place we find:
Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Jordan 1

Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” collection with Nike was arguably the biggest sneaker release event of the year. After months of Instagram leaks and anticipation, the collection (minus the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star, which releases Spring 2018) finally landed at retailers in November, with the Jordan 1 in a “Chicago” colorway considered by many to be the highlight of the pack.

And our first place of the top 2017 sneakers is:

Kanye West inked his prolific deal with German sportswear brand adidas in the beginning of 2013. Sneakerheads and ‘Ye stans alike waited patiently until February 2015, when product first hit the market. Since then, West and adidas have continued to trickle out apparel and footwear, with 2017 ushering in new 350 V2 and Powerphase colorways, as well as the brand new Wave Runner 700 silhouette.

We also want to say that all of the yeezy line is the top sneaker of 2017, not only the “Zebra”.

TOP FIVE HATS!

VANS DAVIS 5 -PANEL HAT You know VANS for its indestructible sneakers, but they also have a ton of quality accessories on offer, and one of their best is the Davis 5-Panel Hat. Lightly patterned with tiny palm leaves, the black and white hat will look great with nearly anything you wear.  COAL TREK HAT You've admired camo forever, but haven't had guts to go full-on military style and sport camo pants. That's okay, we understand that, not always you can rock the camouflage. Instead, wear it in something a little bit more subdued, like this camo Coal Trek Hat.  HERSCHEL SUPPLY CO. GLENDALE 5-PANEL CAP You might think Herschel Supply Co. just creates those backpacks that have become very trending over the past few years, but they have other accessories on offer, like this Glendale 5-Panel Cap. Simple in basic black, it'll go with anything you wear. If there's such a thing as a formal baseball hat, this is super lit.  ...

REVENGE X STORM vs VANS

One of the most influential shoes of this year has been the throwback of the old school skater shoe. In the last year we could see how this kind of shoe conquer not only Street style brands and influencers but it also manage to appear in the feet of top designers and fashionable people such as models like Bella Hadid or designers like Virgil.  This trend cause a division in the shoe culture because this spike on the shoes comes form the release of the revenge x storm a shoe with a classic skater figure that resemblance the original vans but change the line for a thunder shape.  Also this brand makes multiple strange mixes of colours.  The only problem these shoes are designer and cost around $300. Just to give context the plain classic vans go for around $48. Then which is better?  For us it as always with shoes it depends of the context. Yet, for most situation we believe vans is a better option. The price is lower and the quality is the same, furt...
